Sign-up information is now posted on Regatta Central.

BCR members can send their personal information and preferred races to regatta@boulderrowing.com and let Mark V do the boat and race assignments.

Great turnout of BCR volunteers at the Boulder Creek Festival this year, and great interest in the Club from new and experienced rowers.

Time will tell, but it looks like the Festival will produce several LTR and LTS sign-ups and some strong additions to our experienced and racing programs.

The 2013 Season is Here!

The BCR on-water Programs got under way on May 4 with a Learn to Row Program on Fri-Sun and a Coxswain Clinic on Sunday.

On Monday, May 6, we had over 30 rowers and coaches at the boatyard, as Experienced Rowing, Sweep Racing 1 and Racing Sculling all had their first sessions.

The photo shows Experienced Rowing with Bella coxing and Meredith, Nancy, Tom, Sam, Alex, Birgit, Don and Margaret rowing by sixes on May 8.

Good water, good turnout, great start to the season.

Racers note: Row the Rockies is June 15th in Denver, Boulder Sprints is June 29th, and Cascadia Masters Championships are July 20-21 in Vancouver.

Boulder Creek Festival – May 25-27, 2013

The Club has a 10×10 space for this huge annual event. We need at least one person staffing this booth from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday the 25th and Sunday the 26th and from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday the 27th. This is a chance to get a lot of those volunteer hours into the bank in a pleasant social setting, visiting with people, meeting old and new rowers, doing some erging, doing some coaching on erging and generally enjoying the Festival. If you can contribute to this effort, please contact volunteer@boulderrowing.com with your preferred hours. Several people have already volunteered, but we need more participation, especially on Monday.
