Winter 2018 Winter Training

The 2018 season starts NOW and enrolling for Indoor Rowing is a “must” for ANY athlete who wants a great workout and to dramatically improve their rowing skills or learn a new sport. First class is January 2nd and this session runs through Tempe Sprints, March 4th.

For rowers, this is a great time to get one-on-one technical tuning with Coach Vee. Figure out what will make you faster on the water now! Training works best with an overall macro plan for your season, whether you plan to race or just want to row more efficiently or recreationally. We also welcome newcomers to learn a bit about the sport and participate in group training environment which provides a perfect mix of intensity and fun.

This year we have an early session on Monday and Wednesday and a later session on Tuesday and Thursday. Both groups will meet together on Saturday. We will be training for the Denver indoor regatta February 2nd & 3rd, and the Tempe Desert Sprints March 4th. You do not have to compete to train, but you do have to train to compete.

The current session is designed to get us on the water as soon as possible — if conditions allow it, we will meet at the res instead of erg.
